This year I will be trying to top my bike mileage from 2012, which was 7 miles short of being 600 miles. After not riding for over 5 years, I got started biking again in March on my old Walmart special, a Roadmaster 10 speed. That lasted about 90 miles, until the purchase of a used 93 Trek 930 MB. Wow, what a difference having 21 speeds makes. In July, because of working outside in the scorching heat and too busy of a schedule in September there was no added miles for those months.
Another thing that I will be working on, is my blogging. It would be nice to get that going a lot better too. It was much easier to do a little note now and then from my nice little Samsung Flight 2 cell, with a nice QWERTY keyboard. It was stolen in July and since then, only have old cell phones that do not work properly. In a few months a new, probably android, cell phone and possibly with a different wireless provider, will be mine. Seriously.... I have been an AT&T customer since 93 and really like the coverage, customer service and phones, but switching to a smartphone plan is just way too expensive with them. There are lots of other alternatives, though the coverage, and customer service may be questionable, so research has been going on for several months now and the alternatives are being scrutinized before the final decision. Hopefully it will be a smooth transition.
